Dear Parents/Carers
The Summer Fair is almost upon us and once again we appeal to all of a culinary bent to get their rolling pins ready for the Great Sciennes bake-off. This year we are looking for donations of an international flavour, sweet or savoury. Scottish tablet; Baklava; Irish soda bread; ecclefechan tart; peanut mochi; pumpernickel, anything goes! Baking that represents the diverse multi cultural nature of our school and its pupils.
All donations to the bake sale, however big or small are exceedingly welcome. There will be a first prize of £20.00 John Lewis vouchers awarded to the best contribution to the bake sale and two runner up prizes.
So come on, support the school's fundraising efforts, show off your gastronomic delights and get your bake on.

All donations to be submitted either on Friday afternoon to the school office or on the day of the sale, (preferably before it starts).
